Terms & Conditions

Your agreement with Darren Robinson trading as Entertainment In Magic is set out in the online booking form completed by you together with these terms and conditions, under which Entertainment In Magic will provide the agreed services to you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

This agreement will become binding on you (The Client) and Entertainment In Magic on completion by you (The Client) of the online booking form, your acceptance of these terms and conditions, and payment of the required booking fee.

1) This agreement is subject to a 14-day cooling-off period; you have the right to cancel this agreement within 14 days of acceptance, by providing notification by email to the email address below.

2) Any variation to the Services stated must be agreed in writing.

3) The Client will be invoiced for the Performance Fee, which includes a booking fee plus any other services agreed on the Booking Confirmation. The Client shall settle this invoice by the due date stated unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4) Interest may be charged on all late payments at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank Of England base rate. Reasonable expenses incurred in obtaining payment from The Client where any payment due is late may also be charged.

5) On completion of the agreement, Entertainment In Magic will reserve the time and date of your booking, and will consequently be unable to accept alternative bookings for the performance date scheduled. In the event of a cancellation by you, the following cancellation charges will apply;
5a) The booking fee paid is non-refundable, unless this agreement is cancelled within 14 days.
5b) Cancellation over 60 days prior to the Event Date: No Fee
5c) Cancellation made 30-59 days prior to the Event Date: 25% of the total Invoice
5d) Cancellation made 15-29 days prior to the Event Date: 50% of the total Invoice
5e) Cancellation made less than 15 days prior to the Event Date: 100% of the total Invoice

6) Cancellations can only be accepted where notified by email (sent to the following address: info@darrenrobinson.co.uk), setting out your full name(s), performance venue and date of the performance to be cancelled. Cancellations by telephone or any other means of communication cannot be accepted.

7) If the venue provided by The Client is unable to accommodate Entertainment In Magic and Entertainment In Magic is unable to perform for this reason, The Client will be liable for cancellation charges as outlined above.

8) The Client shall provide a suitable performance area for Entertainment In Magic and ensure there is an adequate power supply which meets industry standards if electrical equipment is to be used as part of the performance.

9) Where Entertainment In Magic is expected to wear stage clothing, the Client must provide adequate dressing room facilities. Public toilets are unacceptable.

10) The Client agrees that if Entertainment In Magic is threatened, abused verbally or physically by anyone present at the performance, then Entertainment In Magic will be entitled not to perform, without penalty. All Fees will remain payable by The Client.

11) The Client must hold adequate insurance policies in respect of any Engagement.

12) The Client is responsible for obtaining any work permits or other approvals for Entertainment In Magic before the commencement of an Engagement.

13) Any changes to the performance schedule will be subject to these Terms and Conditions.

14) If changes are required to the performance schedule on the day of the event, these changes should be discussed with Entertainment In Magic where possible; otherwise, agreement should be reached between the Client and Entertainment In Magic.

15) If Entertainment In Magic is unable to complete a performance due to a delay in the start of the performance schedule, where such delay is no fault of Entertainment In Magic, the Client shall remain liable to pay the full Fee due.

16) Should Entertainment In Magic be required by the Client to extend the length of the performance, a further fee may be charged as agreed between the parties.

17) Entertainment in Magic is not obligated to finish any performance that has started late due to the Client’s actions or to extend the length of any performance.

18) These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England, and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
